Parents can “jump start” their child’s school success through involvement in his or her academic growth. The first best predictor of student success is Reading Aloud. Parents can enlarge the language of their child simply by reading aloud to them. When the child’s listening vocabulary improves, their speaking, reading, and writing abilities also improve.
Parents can also volunteer in the classroom and
